Included in this brooch are 20 different variants of the AR-15 rifle, a rifle infamous since the Sandy Hook school shooting, in a circle that represents the 20 years since Columbine and the creation of the piece (1999–2019). What has changed since then? A circle is continuous, a circle of guns represents an infinity of the same problem in this country. It is a problem with no end in sight, continuing endlessly.
